Mentoring is a process like traveling with an experienced guide to unfamiliar places.

This is a relationship based on trust, openness and empathy, in which an experienced mentor/mentor shares their knowledge, skills and perspective as a guide, helping mentee develop their potential and overcome challenges.

A mentor / mentor is a person who has a wealth of experience or knowledge in a particular field and is willing to share it with others.

In contrast, a mentee is a person who seeks support, guidance, and inspiration for professional or personal growth.

As A Mentor / Mentor:

• You'll build a reputation as someone who not only excels in their field, but also shares knowledge and supports others in achieving their goals.
• You will create relationships that will make you feel what it means to " be a champion”.
• You will have the opportunity to influence the future of your industry or organization by sharing your experience and values with others.
• You will have the opportunity to look at your own experiences and achievements from a new perspective, which can lead to reflection and personal growth.
• You will get personal satisfaction and a sense of satisfaction by watching the positive changes and development of your mentees that are the result of your support.
• You will expand your network of contacts with people who can be the key to new opportunities in the future

Like Mentee:

• You will get the opportunity to collaborate with an authority in your field and use their knowledge and unique experience
• You will gain a new perspective on your skills, growth opportunities, and challenges that will allow you to improve yourself and achieve your goals.
• Through regular mentoring sessions, you will receive individual support in defining and achieving your development goals.
• In an open and safe space, you can talk about difficulties, problems and doubts, and then find a way to solve them.
• You will have useful relationships with interesting people with whom you can share your experience
• By exploring different perspectives and solutions, you'll gain invaluable knowledge, build your self-confidence, and broaden your horizons.

Ideal candidate for the role of mentor / mentor:

• He is an active member of PMI Poland Chapter, i.e. he has paid membership in PMI Global and in the Polish branch
• Has an undisguised opinion
• At least ten years of experience and / or must be an expert in project management
• He will set aside 5 to 12 hours of Mentee mentoring sessions throughout the show
• They will receive positive feedback from the PMI PC Board to participate in the program as a mentor
• They will apply in accordance with the program's rules and pass the recruitment process positively

The perfect Candidate for Mentee:

• He is an active member of PMI Poland Chapter, i.e. he has paid membership in PMI and its Polish branch
• They will set aside 5 to 12 hour-long mentoring sessions with a mentor throughout the program
• They will apply in accordance with the program's rules and pass the recruitment process positively

Mentor pairs are selected based on the information contained in the Application Form that the mentors/mentors and mentors complete. The team behind the program does everything possible to match the pairs, taking into account the similarities, goals and expectations of both parties.

If a mentor / mentor receives multiple applications from potential Mentees, she has the option to choose her own Mentee from the available candidates. In this situation, the mentor / mentor can also use the recommendations of the program team to make the best choice that meets the expectations and needs of both parties.

After the mentor/mentor selects the Mentee, both stakeholders will be informed via email.
